This is a piece of art was created with charcoal and chalk pastels on watercolor paper sizing 16”x23” back in 2019. It was one of the first pieces I created for my senior portfolio. In March 2020 I had the pleasure of entering this piece in the K-12 Youth Art Month competition hosted by the Kansas Art Educators Association. Due to covid, the event was completely online and I had won my first art competition virtually. I ended up with first place in the high school division, and the overall grand champion.
